STOW, MA—More than 100 golfers, sponsors and volunteers joined to raise over $8,000 to support adaptive sports and recreation programs provided by AbilityPLUS for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. Wedgewood Pines Country Club in Stow, MA hosted the annual AbilityPLUS tournament.
Greg Cutler, David Ilsley, Sharon Purtill and John Rossiter combined to win the team title. Kristin Erickson won the women’s longest drive competition with David Hauser taking the men’s longest drive. Scott Brown won honors in the putting contest.
“What a truly remarkable day for our organization and all the families and individuals we serve,” said David Hauser, AbilityPLUS executive director. “We’re grateful for the tremendous help volunteers provided to make the tournament possible and to all our sponsors and participating golfers for their support and generosity. The funds raised will enable us to expand our reach throughout the Northeast.”
