The brand 612 Ivy League comes from an Indian house of textiles, Indian Yarn Ltd, Ludhiana, which has 40,000 spindles with a turnover of Rs. 135 crores and which produces its own fabric, using a vast experience in the field of garment manufacturing. Indian Clothing League Pvt. Ltd, ICLPL, which is a group concern of IYL, is the organization which is promoting 612 Ivy League. 612 Ivy League is a registered trademark of ICLPL. At ICLPL, an environment has been created which fosters new ideas and gives freedom to employees to innovate designs and processes to offer products with a fresh perspective. The company has a modern manufacturing facility at Ludhiana equipped with latest machinery to supply a wide range of state of the art, global and comfortable garment products. The company is a professionally managed entity. Managing Director Manu Indrayan is an MBA from IIM Bangalore and BE from BITS Pilani. He has promoted the spinning venture (Indian Yarn Limited) and manages its operations as a Whole Time Director. He is well experienced in all aspects of business management including product planning, project implementation, finance & accounts, systems engineering, marketing and company affairs and is a regular invitee of Punjab National Bank to address their trainees in project appraisal methods and techniques. He has been successful in transformation of IYL from an ordinary commodity spinner to a market driven, consumer centric organization, manufacturing value-added fibre dyed yarns for a niche segment. He heads the 612 venture as the Managing Director. Mrs. Mohita Indrayan is an economics graduate from LSR, New Delhi and a PGDAMM from NIFT, New Delhi. She has been in the past associated with NIIFT, Mohali as a consulting faculty. She was instrumental in promoting a course on Fashion Retail Management at NIIFT, Mohali in the year 2006-07 which involved formulation of course syllabus, appointment of faculty, student selection etc. She specializes in visual merchandising and has carried out several VM assignments for brands like Lee, Arrow etc. in the past. She had launched a range of women’s indo-western garments under her label MAD Designs in Chandigarh and has successfully exhibited her products in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Delhi and USA. She looks after the creative and design areas of the 612 venture as Director Design and Merchandising.
