"Absolute Power" set for release on January 7th, 2012

Michael Fisher (aka The Emperor) was born in Houston, Texas on April 19, 1982. He moved to Vallejo, Ca. where he became known in the bay area for his share of street games. Whatever it took to keep him moving forward he did. The area in which he grew up in Vallejo is called The Crest and this is where he was influenced by local rappers such as Andre’ Hicks, Mac Dre, J Diggs, Mac Mall, PSD, Kyree and the new and upcoming rap group Crest Creepers.

The Emperor has plenty of life experience and was raised not only on the streets but in a church environment. This type of mixture created a very interesting rap style. He never let God out of his vision even though the struggles that he faced living the life of a young man in the inner city proved to be a constant challenge to him. He managed to transport those emotions and life experience through his music with the upcoming release of his newest project “Absolute Power”.

The lead single off of this CD which is set for release in its digital format on January 7, 2012, is titled “Everything Will Be Alright”. This song is self-explanatory which reflects a layered journey that is relatable to all – with no exceptions. This song is representative of this new CD through its many common threads; one being its lyrical content and the appeal that his music has with audiences everywhere. Each song carry’s a certain style and energy. The Emperor’s swag speaks for itself, through his presence, his music and his message.

The Emperor turned down label deals from Bad Boyz, Lil Jon and Thizz Entertainment. He has beed featured on one other mix tape prior to creating “Absolute Power”. In a mixed tape song, The Emperor gased over Beanie Seagals’ “I Can Feel It In The Air Tonight” instrumental, receiving over 1 million hits on www.myspace.com. He has been working in the studio on his next CD.
