Absolute Triathlon Coaching launch Winter training weekends

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 7, 2011 -- The camps will run over two weekends in October and November; the first takes place 7th – 9th October and the second 11th – 13th November.
The weekends are designed for runners and triathletes of all abilities, including beginners, and will be led by professional coach Steve Lloyd.

Coach Steve Lloyd commented “I have been working with a number of triathletes recently who have been looking to improve their run specifically and have been getting some excellent results. The idea behind the camps is to extend this success to others and really maximise the time with the athletes giving them a good base to start their winter training. Everyone will leave the camp feeling inspired knowing that they can go into the 2012 season faster, stronger and more effective. Being surrounded by like minded people also increases enjoyment of the sport as well as motivation.”

During the course of the weekend Absolute will be covering a variety of practical sessions including drills, technique and conditioning as well as exploring subjects such as the biomechanics of running

Steve said “Beginners are very welcome to come along, all abilities will be catered for as the main focus will be on technique rather than distance although there will be opportunity to run in the stunning scenery in and around Edale”.

Athletes will arrive Friday lunchtime at the camps and leave at 5 pm on the Sunday. The cost for the weekend is £195 per person and includes coaching, accommodation, breakfast, lunch and evening meal. All participants will be able to take home with them videos of the drills and exercises.
