ACHS to Host Fundraiser Benefiting the Oregon Humane Society July 27

(Free-Press-Release.com) July 19, 2011 -- American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) has partnered with the Oregon Humane Society for a fun summer fundraiser, Lipstick for Dogs, to be held on the ACHS campus in the John’s Landing area of Portland on July 27 from 5-8 pm, PST.

The Lipstick for Dogs event will provide health-conscious cosmetic hounds a unique opportunity to shop for a cause. The event will feature Arbonne vegan cosmetics, skin care, and nutrition products, plus raffle prizes, free makeovers, and more! Bring a donation of pet food, litter, or a toy and receive a free gift. Arbonne consultants will donate 35% of retail sales and 15% of Preferred Client sales, and have pledged a minimum donation of $250 to support OHS’s work sheltering animals, fighting neglect, and building community throughout Oregon.

To date, OHS has saved 5,461 animals in 2011 and has a goal of 11,000 by year-end. OHS is not affiliated with any other local or national organization and relies on donations to continue their work supporting animal rights and health.
