Acme Resource Recovery is expanding its green recycling services through a partnership with James Mejia Company
Acme Electronics Recycling has recently partnered with the California-based James Mejia Company in order to improve and expand upon their recycling services. The resulting company, Acme Resource Recovery, will still continue to provide environmentally safe recycling solutions to their clients, while focusing more on converting waste to smaller volumes as well as transforming it into premium U.S. mill and smelter-ready raw materials. While Acme Resource Recovery’s initial operation is in Los Angeles, they will also have an identical operation Blue Island, IL by late spring of 2012. This partnership between Acme Electronics Recycling and the James Mejia Company will only enhance the environmentally safe and certified recycling services they offer to the industrial, commercial, and post-consumer sectors.

Acme Resource Recovery’s recycling programs provide certified recycling services to keep businesses free of unnecessary waste and keep them in compliance with state and federal regulations. Acme is NAID certified (National Association for Information Destruction), which allows them to handle recycling for companies with large amounts of sensitive material that needs to be destroyed, such as documents, micro media, and computer hard drives. Businesses need to be sure they are protecting the sensitive information of their clients as well as their employees, which is why Acme is certified in the complete destruction and disposal of this sensitive material. Acme’s sophisticated industrial equipment completely erases and destroys all confidential information before they extract the recyclable materials to be reused. Businesses who use Acme Resource Recovery keep in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations on privacy as well as waste disposal.

Recycling unused or unwanted industrial and business waste with Acme is also beneficial to the environment. Instead of letting millions of pounds of electronic, metal, and paper waste end up in landfills across the United States, Acme safely disposes of the materials and recycles the reusable components, removing toxic substances that could contaminate ground water in landfills.
