Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – September 21, 2011 – Actor Antonio “Tony” Srado prepares in becoming a Certified Personal Trainer.

The 19-year-old actor, humanitarian, and soon to be certified personal trainer, Antonio Srado decided that he would like to begin training to become a certified personal trainer.

“My first encounter with the thoug

ht of becoming a certified personal trainer came about as I hired my personal trainer.” says Antonio Srado, “I really do not care about the salary as a certified personal trainer, but I would like to train others as well as myself in becoming or staying healthy and fit.”

Antonio is currently serving the United States Army Pennsylvania National Guard. His first tour remains uncertain, but he awaits anxiously to receive his orders for deployment. As to date, he is a Private First Class and holds an Army Achievement Medal given to him for his great achievements during training and state-side missions.

“I enlisted in November of 2009. My persona as a soldier; always being on time, discipline, leadership, fitness training, etcetera, also influenced my decision in becoming a fitness trainer.”

Army Physical Training (PT) is Antonio’s best task to do when attending his monthly drills and annual training events. He helped train other soldiers inpassing the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT).

“In June of 2011, I began conducting research in what certifying body will best suite me. I have thought about trying the American Council on Exercise (ACE), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), or National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I decided to go with NASM.”

I spoke with my fitness trainer, and he gave me a few tips on becoming a successful personal trainer. I will take the tips and execute them accordingly.”
