Actor Oscar Torre joins cast of the film "Joshua Tree"

Los Angeles, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 12, 2010 -- Oscar Torre will play attorney Rob Goodman in the independent film, "JOSHUA TREE. " Torre's character is a tax lawyer who launders money for the Russian mob. Joshua Tree is a crime drama in the tradition of "The Departed." Torre will join Michael Madsen, Steven Bauer, Vincent Pastore and Emilio Roso to round up the cast. The film is written by Shak Brenner and Kris Kardash who is also directing.

Oscar Torre is best known for his role as Santo, Jimmy Smits' confidant and enforcer in the CBS TV series "Cane" and for his comedic performance in the Spanish Lionsgate film, "LADRON QUE ROBA A LADRON."
In the past year he guest starred in the FOX show "DOLLHOUSE" & in the CBS shows "COLD CASE" & "NCIS." He recently starred in the suspense thriller "LEGACY" and in the Andy Garcia produced film "MAGIC CITY MEMOIRS." Torre will next be seen in the new NBC series "UNDERCOVERS."
