(Free-Press-Release.com) January 15, 2012 --
Outskirts Press, Inc. has published Stepping in Wet Cement: Avoiding the Miseducation of Young Children by Susan Laurita. The author's most recent book to date is a 6 x 9 paperback in the family, relationships, parenting and child rearing category and is available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The webpage at www.outskirtspress.com/steppinginwetcement was launched simultaneously with the book's publication.
Parents, teachers, and administrators are still asking the question that a young mother asked the author over twenty years ago: “I have to go back to work,” she said over their phone telephone. “I don’t even know what questions I should be asking you!”
That young mother broke down in tears as the full importance of her responsibility hit home. For those of us in the field, the impact may not be as personal, but the responsibility is every bit as great.
Stepping in Wet Cement is a guidebook. It tells parents and practitioners what is important for young children, why those things are important, and what parents can do at home to maximize their child’s learning potential.
Deftly constructed at 126 pages, Stepping in Wet Cement: Avoiding the Miseducation of Young Children is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the FAMILY & RELATIONSHIPS / Parenting / Child Rearing category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Stepping in Wet Cement meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $14.95.
Additionally, Stepping in Wet Cement can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press Direct bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore.
ISBN: 9781432780531 Format: 6 x 9 paperback white SRP: $14.95
