They developed the Acura and moved upscale with its division, aimed at solely the luxury market. Acura quickly outsold Mercedes-Benz and BMW. And when Toyota Motor started Lexus, Acura outsold that, too. Acura came out in 1986, but its first full year was 1987. On March 27, 1986, Acura opened its first 60 dealerships. Acura was not a clone of Honda, but a move up by the maker to market with more luxurious and more prestigious cars. In 1986, Honda made a gamble with Acura when they made the $20,000 Legend — no one had ever paid $20,000 for a Japanese car before. Eventually, people weren't thinking of the car as an Acura first but as a Legend...and it was important to build some brand awareness as the Acura franchise went forward. Thus the Legend was abandoned. It was then renamed the “RL”. They are now producing the ‘Second generation RL’.
Acura holds the title of being the first Japanese automotive luxury brand. In the first few years after being marketed, the Acura was among the best selling luxury vehicles in the Unites States. The success of the Legend made other Japanese automobile manufacturers venture out with luxury cars (Toyota Lexus, Ford Lincoln and Nissan Infiniti). Around the year 2000 or so, Acura re-designed many of its models and experienced a rebirth in sales. Still going strong, Acura recently announced a new wagon in the last year.

We have catered to our customers, at their convenience of selling their car or truck, right from their homes or office. Since 1984 we have taken pride in the way we give our customers the very best and unique service. Our business is unlike what most people are accustomed to when it comes to dealing with the typical used car dealer. We want you to remember your experience in selling your car or truck to Cash4Carz.
Many people place their trust when doing business with other dealerships. Most times, the salesmen at these places feel as though this is a one- time deal, and they will not see these people again. This is what we always avoid. We never want to be associated with the typical stereo type of the used car dealer. Our customers always call us back and deal with us over and over again, every time they need a car or truck.
If you are looking to sell your used Acura, at the very least please give us the opportunity to make you our very best offer. Keep in mind about our catered service that we provide every customer. You will never be obligated to sell us your car or truck. We do not believe in pushing customers into any deal they’re uncertain of doing.
