Adagio Ballet Announces the Beginning of Their Winter Camps

Arlington, Virginia, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) December 21, 2010 -- Arlington, VA December, 21 2010 - Adagio Ballet (www.adagioballet.com) is pleased to announce their Winter Camps have started. Winter Camps will be held in two sessions, one from 12/20 - 12/23 and one from 12/27 - 12/30. Parents are encouraged to call ahead of time to reserve a place for their children.

"Winter is truly an exciting time of the year at Adagio Ballet. We look forward all year long to our Winter Camps. They provide an amazing outlet for our young dancers to enjoy and learn a few new steps to apply to some wonderfully themed programs," stated Program Director Svetlana Marintcheva of Adagio Ballet.

Adagio Ballet has developed these Winter Camps so that their young, enthusiastic dancers can showcase their dance moves to the public and their family in choreographed specific winter themed programs. Themes are Winter Wonder Land (ages 3 -5), Lyrical/Modern (ages 10+), Holiday Lights on Broadway (ages 6 - 9), The Nutcracker Story Ballet (ages 9 - 12), Happy Feet (ages 6 - 10) and Pointe (levels I&II).

Dancers will be involved in every step of putting on their showcases. They will be decorating and designing their own props, assisting with the stage setup and helping to create their own beautiful costumes. This unique experience is not only meant to be fun for the children, it is also going to be a great time of learning for them as it will show them how much work goes into a dance production.

Marintcheva went on to say, "This special camp gives our kids a chance to show how much they have learned all season. They can get together with their friends and family and just have a great and memorable time during this wonderful holiday season. We invite everyone to come out to the shows and enjoy!"
