FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 21, 2012 --ADELAIDE- Open4Sale.com a brash e-commerce startup based in Adelaide made a huge presence during G’Day USA: Australia Week activities highlighting the best and brightest of Australian technology, companies and personalities.

Open4Sale made a great impression at the Cappello Capital Group Investor Conference held in Los Angeles last week where CEO Simon La Barrie unveiled his company’s innovative person-to-person online shopping service

“Open4Sale has created a revolutionary online shopping experience which connects consumers and retailers in real-time,” said La Barrie.

La Barrie has been working with a team of more than 50 personnel to develop the technology over the last three years with more than 5 million dollars of invested capital. "We've been waiting for this day a long time to share the Open4Sale announcement. We’ve created an E-commerce platform which brings together consumers and retailers in live, person-to-person online video,” La Barrie.

A video demonstration was the highlight of the presentation and showcased features offered to retailers and consumers. Open4Sale’s software allows retail partners to improve upon their existing sales platform by adding personalized one-to-one service.

"We received a tremendous amount of investor interest today and we’ve over booked our meetings for the next three days. The timing couldn't be better. The market is clearly ready for change and eager to adopt new technology," says La Barrie. " This is a remarkable time of growth and opportunity for Open4Sale.”

The one-day investor conference is part of the G'Day USA: Australia Week promoting business relations and economic development between the two countries. US based International investment banking firm, Cappello Capital Corp. brought together more than 300 attendees from financial institutions, VCs and angel investors to review more than 40 presentations from selected Australian companies presenting new technologies and opportunities in the areas of; mining, bio technology, agribusiness, digital media, telecommunications and clean technology.

"Our inaugural Australian - U.S. Investor Conference exceeded our expectations in both attendance and quality of opportunities to build cross-border U.S. - Aussie business relationships. We look forward to next year’s event to showcase even more Australian client companies and introduce them to U.S. investors for their capital needs, Merger & Acquisition opportunities and strategic alliances." said Alexander L. Cappello, Chairman and CEO of Cappello Capital Corp.

CEO Simon La Barrie had a chance to meet with Australian Deputy Premier of New South Wales, The Honorable Andrew Stoner MP, a conference keynote speaker who gave a state of affairs address and discussed the current economic status and current projected growth of Australian based companies.

"It was very exciting to meet Deputy Premier Stoner here in America to show him the great things that Aussie companies are doing," said La Barrie. "We even caught up with the South Australian Premier, The Honorable Jay Weatherill at the Defence, Maritime (Science and Australia’s Industrial Maritime Capability) networking event in La Jolla and he was happy to hear about an Adelaide company’s exciting progress."

The South Australian Premier, The Honorable Jay Weatherill is the Minister for State Development and was a guest speaker for the G'Day USA Maritime networking event Jan. 13 at the Scripps Forum in La Jolla, CA. The networking event promotes a collaborative relationship between San Diego and Australia who have extremely similar maritime cultures.

The highlight of the G’Day USA Australia week for La Barrie and his team was the G'Day USA Black Tie Gala in Hollywood where they met many of Australia’s talented entertainers and entrepreneurs. Jason Gann, actor and producer of the Australian TV show 'Wilfred' now airing on FX in the United States, dined with La Barrie and the Open4Sale team.

President Todd Dean, “The G’Day USA - Australia week team hosted a great week with tremendous opportunities for networking between our two countries. We felt very welcomed by our Australian counterparts and we look forward to building a strong Australian-US relationship."
