ADP bonds with the associates and their families on 12th Family Day

ADP Private Limited celebrated its 12th Family Day, on Sunday, 12th February 2012 at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad. This event is a part of its “Employer of Choice” initiative which aims to extend the circle of involvement to associates and their families who have helped build a great culture at ADP and make it a great place to work. This year, the company is celebrating its duodenary association with this special day christened as Swarang’ 12 and has set ‘The Power of One’ as the theme. Close to 8,000 associates and their family members who were present on this occasion bonded with each other over several engaging and synergizing activities.

To make Family Day an occasion of celebration, inclusion and bonding, senior leaders and managers of ADP India gave a special touch to the event by extending a personal invitation to each associate to be a part of the Family Day festivities. Along with this, a personalized invite was sent to the family members of all the associates welcoming them to the celebrations.

The celebrations were initiated a few weeks before the main event with many creative events organized for the associates which included fun and interactive activities in the ADP India Hyderabad campus. The highlight was a special event - One Konnect, that was organized for 250 lucky ADP associates and their families at Mountain Heights on 29th January, 2012. During this event the leadership and associate families actively participated in interactivities over a warm and vibrant evening get-together.

Keeping up with the enthusiasm, the grand finale – Swarang’ 12 - ADP Family Day – started off with an address from Mr. Shakti Sagar, Managing Director, ADP - India. Mr. Sagar welcomed the families and thanked them for their constant support towards the ADP family. The program started with a homage to Late Mr. Balaji Boddapati, Ex Director, ADP – India, whose absence was dearly felt. A special program was performed by the associates dedicated to him as a tribute to his legacy. This was followed up by a glamorous walk on the ramp & entertaining dance performances by the family members of the associates, a scintillating dance performance by the ADP associates and a rocking performance by the in-house rock band “Rave”. Key highlight of the event was a special performance by the famous Bollywood Singer, Neeraj Shridhar, who enthralled the audience with his super hit Bollywood melodies and also the ones from yesteryears.

Along with the entire cultural fiesta, ADP India Family Day had numerous entertaining and interactive activities for family members of all ages starting from kids to youth to elders. The associates and their family members enthusiastically and cheerfully participated in the activities organized exclusively for them.
