Since the HSE regulation change for First Aid provision, businesses have been given the choice between a one-day Emergency First Aid course and a three-day more in-depth First Aid at Work course. This has replaced the four-day blanket course and has made First Aid training far more accessible for businesses. Businesses are still required to risk assess for their own First Aid needs, but generally the one-day course is suitable for low-risk workplaces, and the three-day course is suited to higher risk workplaces. For those working in remote areas two-day Outdoor First Aid course is ideal.
