Survey show, compared with advertising of AOL, Yahoo and other sites whose CPM is $15 to $25, Facebook has very competitive prices, the current CPM pricing in between 4-8 U.S. dollars. The charges of Facebook’s self-service advertising platform are relatively low, despite the upward trend began. OTR Global reports that, shopping activity on Facebook is increasing. Because shopping website occupy a large proportion on spending of search advertising, this also means that Facebook’s business also has a potential growth area. It is not clear whether Facebook will become a shopping destination, it is clear that the staying time that the users shopping on the Facebook is longer and longer.

Analysts pointed, Facebook is not a shopping destination yet, but that could be changed in coming years. If this shift comes true at the final, no doubt Facebook will has endless benefit, advertising revenue will increase significantly. Survey also found, the reduce part of newspaper advertising revenue is Facebook’s largest source of advertising revenue.
