AFI APPOINT PHILLIP TRAVERS
AFI APPOINT PHILLIP TRAVERS
AFI today announced the appointment of Phillip Travers as Vice President, Investor Relations and Communications.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) February 9, 2012 --
As Vice President of Investor Relations and Communications, Phillip Travers will be the primary interface between AFI and the investment community as well as direct external and internal communications. Phillip will also provide leadership and training for the existing Investor Relations and Communications departments.
Phillip Travers has extensive experience in general management, marketing, strategy and operations but his major asset is his proven record of achieving tangible results in a very short period.
Phillip Travers brings a great deal of energy and experience to his new role. He completed a similar contract for Hoodless Brennan in the UK. He led the Market News Division and was a key player in the expansion of Hoodless Brennan’s award-winning brokerage service which was sold to TD Direct Investing. Following the global financial crisis Phillip also assisted a number of struggling companies to transform their ideas, technologies and products into sustainable successful businesses.
Although the role with AFI is expected to be temporary it’s likely that his deep understanding of the investment community and broad financial and operational experience will bring added value to AFI and transform their ability to effectively communicate with investors, employees and other stakeholders.
