AGreatAffair Offers Options for Creating a Gift Registry

Regardless of what type of registry the user selected, the cost for the registry was free so users did not have to worry about paying for gift registry. Instead of collecting payment for the creation of the registry, AGreatAffair collected a maximum service fee of 7% from the money that guests gave to the gift registry.

The two options that AGreatAffair provided were the:

1. Bill to Guest Option
For users who chose this option for their gift registry, the charge for the service fee was obtained from the guests. An example is when a guest paid for a $100 gift listed in a wedding registry, the service fee collected by AGreatAffair amounted to $7 so the guest had to pay a total of $107.

2. Bill to Me Option

For this option, the service fee collected by AGreatAffair was collected from the amount that the user received from cash gift given by the guest. If a guest paid $100 for a gift in a baby registry, AGreatAffair collected $7 from the $100 so the user would receive $93 for the gift.

Furthermore, users who created a gift registry with listed gifts with a total cost of at least $300, users were given a complimentary webpage. With the complimentary webpage, users were able to personalize it for the special occasion by redesigning the webpage so that they could share it to their guests, friends, and family members.
