Agrisphera: the development path for the innovation in the agri-food industry is outlined. Thanks to Jacques Attali’s visionary thought

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 20, 2011 -- Rome, December 20th, 2011 – On Friday December 16th the topic moment was the speech of the French economist Jacques Attali , titled “Agro-business in the future”, in which he highlighted the necessity of a renewal for the agri-food industry in order to meet the increasing demand of products.

Between the points developed by the French economist in his speech: the female role in the future of agriculture, in relation to property rights, especially in Africa and Asia; the necessity of microcredit and the intelligent mobile revolution , mainly in the developing countries, where the phone is now the most popular medium; a more balanced management of resources , in particular as regards water (today, 70% of resources is aimed at agricultural uses).
Jacques Attali spoke also about biotechnologies and smart grid , mentioning field experiences in Malta, leader in agricultural innovation together with Germany and the USA.
During its second day, Agrisphera hosted the speeches of three Professional Agricultural Associations: CIA, Coldiretti and Confagricoltura .
Discussion themes were the CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) reform , the necessity of a strong national agricultural policy , able to protect a sector that is a symbol of Italy, and internationalization strategies .

Agrisphera will have a second phase in 2012, starting with some itinerant workshops, inspired to the ABE - Accelerated Business Experience approach.
