The saying, better late than never applies quite well for AICTE. As per AICTE website www.aicte-cmat.in, the trial test for CMAT, the MBA entrance exam which has been announced by AICTE was to be available from Monday, December 12, 2011 onwards. But even after two days of wait, no test was available. However, the trial test has now become functional on December 14.
But strangely enough, when MBAUniverse.com logged on www.AICTE-CMAT.in on Dec 14 at 6pm, the questions are not at all related with the sections of the test which are Quantitative Ability, Verbal, DI, LR and GK! Rather, all the 10 questions which are asked in the trial test are on corporate finance. Like this bizarre question: "What is the default spot lag for an equity warrant?".
It seems that someone at APTECH, which is executing this test, has forgotten to put the right test, and AICTE officials not at all bothered to check.
The MBA aspirants who were waiting for the trial test to get a hint of the question pattern and the difficulty level, their purpose doesn’t get solved by taking the trial test.
