Lisa Wallace (35) from Eufaula, Alabama, was last seen according to police reports by her husband Chris on October 27, 2012 around 1pm at their home. However, the last time anyone else heard from Lisa was October 26, 2012.

According to police, Lisa's husband took their 2-year old daughter to his mother's house following an argument they had around 1pm on October 27th. Lisa never showed up to work and upon learning Lisa was missing, her mother, not husband, filed a missing person report with police on November 3, 2012.

Barbara Covey , Lisa's mother, has retained the services of the National Women's Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation (NWCAVE) to help launch a media campaign to find her daughter. In addition, Barbara has also been working with a private investigator in hopes to find evidence of the whereabouts of Lisa. NWCAVE's Missing Persons' Division is headed by Shelley Shaffer and Private Investigator Katharine Johnston; are handling the independent investigation into the disappearance of Wallace. œI just want to bring home my daughter one way or another," said Barbara Covey.

Covey believes that investigators and the media need to be asking the questions that are relevant to Lisa's disappearance: Who last saw Lisa? When was Lisa last seen? Why did Lisa's mother have to file a missing person report? Why was there blood in their bathroom and not investigated? Why did specialized K9's come out to Alabama and allowed only five minutes to search the home and then was asked to leave? These questions and many more are bothering Lisa's family and they want and deserve answers.

FACT: Lisa Wallace is a mother of a two-year-old baby girl who was last seen on October 26th by her husband and almost four months later, still no clues to what happened to Barbara's daughter.

FACT: Lisa recently had surgery for a brain tumor prior to her disappearance and was set to undergo another surgery in December 2012; she never showed up.

FACT: Lisa was in the process of leaving her husband and coincidently disappeared soon after.

Family and friends who know the facts and want answers and so does Lisa's parents. Lisa's parents will be hosting a Lisa Wallace Balloon Release & Candlelight Vigil on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 4-6pm in Eufaula, Alabama (Highway 431 - Empty lot where the old Chewalla restaurant use to be) “ the public and media are invited to attend and help us find Lisa!

For more information on this case please visit www.LisaWallace.org. For information on the vigil please call Katharine Johnston at (931) 217-2063.
