Alan Mendelson and the Best Buys TV Show highlight Valentine's Day and Presidents Day deals with two special TV shows in February on KTLA Channel 5 Los Angeles.

Los Angeles, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 13, 2012 -- Alan Mendelson, the producer of The Best Buys TV Show, has announced that in February there will be two special Saturday afternoon TV Shows at 5:30-PM for Valentine's Day and Presidents Day deals. The Special Best Buys shows will be on KTLA Channel 5 on Saturday February 4th and Saturday February 18th and both will air in the half hour just before Channel 5's 6-PM evening newscast.

"We're excited to have these two key time slots to present our Best Buys TV Show," said Mendelson who is also host of the TV programs. "We have the best possible TV infomercial time that's available in Southern California and we know it is the best time slot and at the best price that our TV infomercial advertisers can possibly buy," said Mendelson.

"Since I started the concept of a Best Buys TV Show on Southern California TV more than five years ago, I've had a lot of copycat shows," Mendelson continued. "These copycat shows don't have the regular broadcast schedule that we have, and they have broadcast times with smaller potential audiences -- yet it amazes me that they charge more for less. And of course, they don't have Alan Mendelson and the more than 19 years of brand-building when I was doing my reports on best buys and smart shopping on KCAL9 (KCAL-TV Channel 9) and KCBS Channel 2, and KTTV Channel 11, and on KFWB Radio."

The Saturday afternoon TV show on February 4th will include items for Valentine's Day as well as other shopping and consumere information from local companies in the Southern California market. The February 18th Best Buys Special, also on a Saturday at 5:30-PM, is on the air Presidents Day Weekend, and several new advertisers will appear on this special show to advertise their Presidents Day sales.

In addition to the Saturday afternoon special broadcasts on KTLA, the Best Buys TV Shows continues to be on every Sunday morning on KCOP Channel 13. The show now airs at 9-AM which is a new time and the time change from 8-AM was requested by advertisers and viewers. "We deliver what our audience and what our advertisers want," says Mendelson. "They wanted the Sunday show on at 9-AM and they got it."

Mendelson is also the host and producer of various full, half-hour TV Infomercials for various companies including American Career College, 1(800)TheLaw2, NTMA Training Centers, The Law Offices of John Ribarich, UEI College, ICDC College, AfterAccident.com, and new infomercials are now in production.
