Fairfield. CT- Peter Lumaj, a Connecticut lawyer will announce his bid for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Senator Joseph Lieberman. The announcement will take place at his headquarters in Fairfield CT on November 23, 2011 at 2:00pm. Peter decided to run for the U.S. Senate because he is concerned about the future of Connecticut and our country.

Peter disagrees with the “liberal elite” belief that America’s best days are behind us. Their view that government is the solution to our problem is unacceptable. The United States of America and the American people are exceptional and therefore, our best days are still ahead of us as long as the government is kept within its constitutional limits.

“Liberal policies implemented in Washington have caused hardworking taxpayers to lose their jobs, homes, businesses, investments and even their hope for the future. To reverse this trend of downturn, conservative principles must be reestablished. We must stabilize the value of the dollar, reduce government spending, reform the tax system and repeal ObamaCare” says Peter.

Washington cannot continue to enact destructive legislation and policies that have pushed our economy towards socialism.
