Featuring the world's most talented singer/songwriters who perform only their own original music, The Alive with Clive SuperStar Contests fill a void left by American Idol, The X Factor and The Voice.
It is currently perhaps not nearly as well known as shows like American Idol, The X Factor and The Voice. It doesn't boast a panel of celebrity judges like Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Demi Lovato, Randy Jackson, Steve Tyler, Adam Levine or Christina Aguilera, who enunciate their opinions live after each performance. But, with the announcement of a series of innovative Alive with Clive SuperStar Contests at http://cliveswersky.com to shine the spotlight on blossoming singer/songwriters, Alive with Clive is nevertheless filling a void left by the big three shows.
Singer/songwriters invited to appear on Alive with Clive are handpicked by the Host and Producer of the show and founder of The Alive with Clive Global Community, Clive Swersky, from those who are talented and engaging enough to perform their own original music at such premier live music venues in New York City as Rockwood Music Hall, Caffe Vivaldi and The Living Room, but who are hardly ever selected to appear on shows like American Idol, The X Factor and The Voice.
œI have interviewed more than 100 of the world's most talented singer/songwriters on Alive with Clive over the past two years, says Clive, œand it's going to be both intriguing and fascinating to discover who The Alive with Clive SuperStars are going to be with the participation of Members of The Alive with Clive Global Community, corporate sponsors, charities, radio stations, and music lovers all over the world.
Clive is also the person who coined the term œsynergistic philanthrocapitalism, and The Alive with Clive SuperStar Contests are being designed to harness the synergies that are created when businesses and charities collaborate to create enduring benefits for humankind.
In addition, to date Clive has created The FIRST Alive with Clive Top 20 compilation of songs to raise millions of dollars for people affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa. More information about this endeavor is available at http://alivewithclive.tv.
Each singer/songwriter who appears on Alive with Clive performs three or four original songs during his or her half-hour show, usually with a guitar or on a keyboard. To date over 350 clips from Alive with Clive of singer/songwriters performing songs have been uploaded to The Alive with Clive TV Channel on YouTube, and more are being added each week.

The FIRST Alive with Clive SuperStar Contest will commence as soon as sponsors have been obtained to provide prizes for the singer/songwriters, charities, and fans who vote for the singer/songwriters and nominate charities they support.
Specifically, $150,000 is currently being sought from sponsors to provide (1) prize money for the singer/songwriter who becomes The FIRST Alive with Clive SuperStar, and for the runner up and the two other semi-finalists; (2) contributions to the three charities that receive the most nominations from supporters who vote for singer/songwriters in the Contest; and (3) funding for the Contest.
