FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) November 24, 2009 -- Launched in October, 2009 by Los Angeles-based pyrotechnics enthusiast Gina Figliuolo, All Fired Up.TV (www.allfiredup.tv) aims to increase visibility & public appreciation of the international pyrotechnics and fireworks industry.

Figliuolo aims to produce programming for delivery both online (www.allfiredup.tv) and via cable or network television outlets (i.e. The Travel Channel.) Coverage will include behind-the-scenes interviews and educational material, as well as footage of the most incredible and unique fireworks displays from festivals, competitions and celebrations around the world in an effort to build recognition for the artists who uphold and elevate the traditions of this age-old industry.

Gina, a former stand-up comic, explains the origin of the project:

"In September, I started working as executive assistant to a life coach, and found myself in a work atmosphere which I credit with lighting the fire under me to find and follow my passion. I've got a lot of interests, but when I thought about whether they could be considered passions, I always wound up with a 'no'. So I thought, 'Okay — what makes me happier than anything else? What makes me want to stay up until 3 in the morning doing research and making contacts and just HUSTLING?

…What makes me feel like I'm five years old again?" The answer came quickly -- "Fireworks."

With a career which has included stints as a stand-up comic, actress, improv player and frequent game show contestant, Figliuolo thrives on camera, and the combination of a live lens in front of her and a sky full of fireworks overhead is her personal equivalent to heaven on earth.

"I love to travel, and I'm beyond intrigued by the global appeal of fireworks. I'm primed to be 'the Anthony Bourdain of Fireworks,' exercising my passions for travel and pyrotechnics while globetrotting in search of the brightest and loudest, whether at a huge international competition in China or a small village festival in Spain. It doesn't matter where or when — as long as it's loud and it lights up, I want to be there to share it with the world, because — let's face it — EVERYBODY loves fireworks, but not everybody is aware of the incredible displays that are mounted worldwide on any given night. Plus, if there's one thing I believe to be true, it's that the two things that cross language lines are laughter and fireworks. It's my goal to combine the two as no one has before."

So,… why Fireworks? "Fireworks have the unique power to take over the senses -- fear, frustration, any negative emotion you may be feeling when the first one goes up is melted away by the time it goes boom. And besides, if mainstream television is willing to pony up to produce and broadcast shows about parking meter enforcement and exterminators, why not Fireworks?"
