All PhytoCeuticals Claims Are Supported By Research

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 19, 2009 -- PhytoCeuticals, Inc., the highly respected developer and manufacturer of proprietary skin care formulations, who also invented Stable Liquid L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) wants to reassure its customers and other purchasers of skincare formulations that certain of the claims being made by IS Clinical about certain of its products rely upon scientific publications, clinical trials and research which are the properties of PhytoCeuticals, Inc. and Dr. Mostafa Omar and relates to products only offered by PhytoCeuticals, Inc.

It has come to PhytoCeuticals, Inc’s attention that there are some market confusion about some of IS Clinical products and scientific research performed by PhytocCeuticals. In fact, PhytoCeuticals developed formulations which include stabilized liquid L-Ascorbic Acid in 1994. PhytoCeuticals has been distributed these products through Cellex-C, SkinCeuticals and IS Clinical until 2008. PhytoCeuticals permitted these companies to utilize scientific publications, clinical trials and research citations, which are the properties of PhytoCeuticals, Inc., to support these companies in selling PhytoCeuticals’ formulations. However, following the termination of business relationships with these companies, these companies had no rights to rely on such claims contained in such research to support the sale of any products that were not formulated or developed by Dr. Omar and PhytoCeuticals. PhytoCeuticals retains the ownership of all its proprietary formulations, as well as the scientific research, publications, patents and grants from National Cancer Institute (NCI) and National Institute of Health (NIH).

PhytoCeuticals wishes to remind customers that PhytoCeuticals has terminated its relationship over a year ago (July 1, 2008) with IS Clinical by Innovation Skincare (Science of Skincare Inc.) and therefore IS Clinical no longer distributes any products which are based on PhytoCeuticals’ formulations. PhytoCeuticals is unaware of any controlled clinical testing, stability testing or research undertaken by IS Clinical with respect to the products it has been selling since July 1, 2008. As stated by Dr. Mostafa Omar, the president of PhytoCeuticals, Inc, “Normally a clinical study and testing of a new formulation takes at least 5 years or more before a product is launched into the marketplace. To the extent that IS Clinical states that it has undertaken extensive research in connection with its products, customers should confirm that the research being relied upon is not research done in connection with PhytoCeuticals’ formulations.”

Since the termination of the business relationship, PhytoCeuticals has received numerous requests from customers who purchased IS Clinical products which do not contain PhytoCeuticals’ formulations to exchange these IS Clinical products with quality issues (refer to the reference pictures) for PhytoCeuticals PHYTO-C products. Dr. Omar has stated that, “The acceptance of exchanges of IS Clinical new products for PhytoCeuticals PHYTO-C products from the beginning was a courtesy to some patients who thought they were still purchasing our formulations to keep up their treatment. It is my ethical duty to help and treat these patients. This is more important than only making a profit.” From now on, any purchasers of IS Clinical skincare products who are dissatisfied with such products and formulations, should return such products to IS Clinical directly for refund or substitute products. Once again, PhytoCeuticals has no responsibility and no warranty for any IS Clinical products.
