(Free-Press-Release.com) August 24, 2009 -- MiniCare is pleased to announce the ribbon cutting ceremony and fund raiser for the very first MiniCare, low cost, non-emergency, primary care medical clinic in Las Vegas. The event will be held for the public on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 6:30pm on the grounds of the Meadows Mall Clinic located at 3838 Meadows Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89107.

MiniCare is a designated 501 (c) (3) public charity offering low cost, non-emergency, primary care for the underinsured and uninsured members of the Las Vegas community. MiniCare's fees will be set at $22 per office visit and a yearly membership fee of $5 per year will be charged each patient. The clinics will be open seven days a week with no appointment necessary and no insurance will be accepted, only cash, checks, debit or credit card. MiniCare seeks to serve the many people who fall into the gap between having health insurance and qualifying for government health care programs. It is estimated that nationwide this number may be as high as 61 million individuals.
