Alps2Alps launches shared bus transfers

Alps2Alps are the lowest cost airport transfer provider operating out of Geneva, Chambery, Lyon and Grenoble airports. The company covers all Alpine destinations and ski resorts with private and shared transfers. All transfer vehicles are based at the departure airports which makes reduces the cost base substantially.

To helps skiers in this currently though economic climate, Alps2Alps have launched a shared bus transfer service, driving further down the cost of ski transfers.

A shared bus transfer is combined shared bus and minivan transfer. In a shared bus transfer, skiers travel with other passengers, who are going in the same direction. A 40 seater bus will take passengers to a drop-off point from where they continue the journey to their chosen resort by minivan. Bus airport transfers are still door-to-door but have one change of vehicle with multiple drop-offs.

Shared bus transfers are available to Moutiers (for Three Valleys), Bourg St Mourice (for Les Arcs, Val D'Isere, Tignes), Chamonix and Les Deux Alpes. On arrival minivan will be ready to take passengers directly to ski resorts and ski accommodation. For the return transfer from the resort we provide a pick-up time window of 30 to 60 min. Pick-up time is typically 5 to 8 hours before departure of your flight.

An Alps2Alps representative will welcome ski holidaymakers at the arrival airport and guide passengers to the bus departure location. As a guideline, the waiting time in the airport can be up to 2h max, in order to wait for fellow passengers arriving on different flights. Clients who arrive on very delayed flights get normally moved onto the next available shared transfer. There will be regular bus transfers services available departing Geneva, Chambery, Lyon and Grenoble during peak periods.
