ALTIUS GROUP APPOINT TWO DIRECTORS OF SALES

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 27, 2012 -- Bolton based Altius Group have created Directors of Sales positions for two companies in their group of six business brokerages.

Andrew Dodd will become Director of Sales for Kings Business Transfer, and Lucie Wright is now Director of Sales for Redwoods Dowling Kerr.

Kings Business Transfer specialise in the sale of small businesses. Dodd joins the company from a background in retail and restaurant management and later business broking.

After originally training as a chef, Dodd made the move into restaurant management.

He has been Assistant Restaurant Manager and later Food and Beverage Manager for Crest Hotels, as well as managing hotels in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany.

In 1989 he opened up Le Bistro restaurant with his wife, which he sold in 2001 after 12 years of ownership.

He was then part of the management team that opened the IMAX Cinema in Manchester’s Printworks, working as Retail Manager.

In 2003 he took up the position of Agency Manager for a business broker. He held this position for 8 years until finally joining Kings Business Transfer as Director of Sales.

Redwoods Dowling Kerr specialises in the sale of Childcare and Care businesses, as well as Kennels and Catteries.

Wright has been Sales Manager at the company since 2009 but will now head up the brand as Director of Sales.

Wright has a background in marketing and worked for a Planning Consultancy before joining a business broker as a corporate negotiator in 2004.

Since she joined Redwoods in 2009, the company’s market share has increased to around 70%.

Wright will now be working with corporate clients to facilitate growth.

In addition to these positions, Altius Group has also recently created three new jobs to expand their Kings Commercial offering, which specialises in the sale of SME businesses.
