(Free-Press-Release.com) December 1, 2009 -- Denver, CO – November 23, 2009 – Amélie Company, a Denver-based advertising, public relations and marketing firm, announces four new additions to the Amélie team. Susan Schrank and Devin Dardanes complement the Account Services Department with print production and consumer product expertise while the talents of Gordy Hirsch and Lauren McFarland bring fresh perspective to the Design Department.

Susan Schrank, senior account executive, has over 12 years of industry experience spanning a wide range of disciplines with an emphasis on direct and interactive marketing of consumer packaged goods: packaging, shopper marketing and insight-based retail promotions. She also has relevant marketing and advertising expertise in the areas of higher education and financial services. Before coming to Amélie, Schrank was an account director for Sterling-Rice Group in Boulder, CO, where she focused on strategic direction, advertising programs and Web site initiatives. At Amélie, she is responsible for strategic planning and brand initiatives for marketing and design implementation. Schrank holds a B.S. in advertising and business marketing from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY, where she graduated cum laude.

Gordy Hirsch, art director, has over 10 years of experience in advertising. Previous to working at Amélie, Hirsch was a freelancer in the Denver area with prominent clients such as Teva, Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau and Weber Grills. His projects ranged from art direction and copywriting to creative consulting for print and web-based projects. Prior stints at agencies such as Denver-based McClain Finlon, with local clients like Qwest, Breckenridge Ski Resort and Western Union, and Grey Direct in Atlanta, Georgia, allowed

Hirsch to expand his agency experience and add to his rich portfolio that shines with the type of laugh-out-loud, make-you-look-twice ad campaigns that get clients noticed. Alabama born and raised, Hirsch holds a B.A. in communications from the University of Alabama and honed his art direction skills at The Creative Circus in Atlanta, GA.

Lauren McFarland, junior graphic designer, is a recent graduate in studio art and graphic design from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Well versed in the latest design programs, McFarland has an inventive point of view and brings new inspiration to the Amélie design team. Most recently as an intern for Karsh & Hagan Advertising Agency in Denver, she assisted with creative work and strategic campaigns for clients.

Devin Dardanes, account coordinator, comes to Amélie after working at C2 Media in Denver, Colorado, where he served as a client liaison, spearheaded new business development and managed projects from conception to delivery. Dardanes has an impressive background in digital printing and his knowledge brings a new dimension and outlook to Amélie projects. Dardanes is experienced, driven and ready to jump in to all Amélie projects.
