Ameli Training Host's Largest Free Holiday Bootcamp

For some, the most intense day of shopping in America, but for a select group of people in Concord, CA, the day after Thanksgiving marks one of the most enjoyable workouts of the year.

For 4 years Ameli Training has been hosting a free bootcamp in the park to promote health and wellness during a season in which most people gain 5 pounds. Over the past 4 years the bootcamp has grown from a small family affair to having over 50 attendees and a Jamba Juice sponsorship.

The inspiration for the workout comes from the largest meal that most Americans will eat all year. In addition, the morning is full of fun interactions and games with family and friends, which puts more focus on the pleasure of working out - not how hard it is.

Every body type is encouraged to attend, as there is no minimum fitness level to participate. By creating a fun atmosphere with various fitness levels the Post Thanksgiving workout has been described by some as "The most enjoyable alternative to Black Friday shopping in the East Bay."
