Sterling City Road, Lyme, CT, August 23 - Amelie Michel of Connecticut (http://www.ameliemichel.com), which provides one of the finest selections of French-made fabrics, is now offering a wider variety of tablecloths. The following selection is available: Fontaine Collection, Cleopatre Collection, Sunflower Collection, Maya Bee Collection, 100 percent Cotton Jacquard Collection and the BB Soleil Collection. The tablecloths are available both as Rounds and Runners. Though the company today makes napkins, Amelie Michel initially launched with tablecloths. It was this product that made the company so popular. These French Tablecloths are beautifully crafted and designed and are actually quite rare in the US market.
The fabric for these tablecloths comes from the old Jacquard mills in Southeastern France, just as they have for many years. Each of these collections is completely unique in texture, color and pattern. Since they are soft neutrals, they look great in any room, no matter the color of the walls and the home décor. But they’re not limited to just interior use. Many clients use the tablecloths outdoors for tea parties, garden barbecues and picnics.
Products from Amelie Michel don’t just look good, they are very convenient, too. Easy to maintain and clean (they can easily be hand cleaned at home), they dry quickly as well. There’s no need to iron and the fabric completely resists stain. What’s more, they come in different shapes and sizes. They’re available in rectangles, squares and rounds and fit most table sizes. To make the setting appear even more beautiful, many customers buy matching napkins and runners to go with the tablecloths.
The fabric of the Fontaine collection is a double quilted jacquard weave, with vibrant colors in the Provence style, available in 52 percent cotton and 48 percent polyester.
The Cleopatre collection is extremely simple and elegant, with a solid basket weave pattern. They’re popular for use with casual dinner and formal gatherings.
The Sunflower collection, a favorite because the bright tablecloths reflect the sunflowers from the fields of Provence, are adored by many. The Sunflower collection is available in a 90-inch round style and 145-inch rectangle style.
The Maya Bee collection is woven in an unusual double jacquard fabric - it has the symbol of the bee, which is very significant to the Provence region.
About Amelie Michel: Amelie Michel is based in Connecticut and owned and operated by Amelie and Michel. During a visit to France, the owners discovered the beautiful French designs in tablecloths that were sold in the open-air markets of Provence. It was here they purchased a few for tables in their own farm. Amelie and Michel today offer these beautiful tablecloths to their many devoted customers.
