American Business Airways has Chicago to Mackinac Race and Port Huron to Mackinac Race Air Charters

American Business Airways has a few customers wanting to share the cost of our aircraft charters from Mackinac Island to Detroit and Chicago after each race. Each flight has 6 seats available and the cost will be shared by those flying. The departure times depend on the arrival times of each customers' boat. The boats from the Port Huron to Mackinac race arrive July 18 and 19. The boats from the Chicago to Mackinac race arrive July 28 and 29. Cost from Mackinac to Detroit (Pontiac) is $1750 and the cost to Chicago is $2600. These are whole airplane costs and DO NOT include taxes. the cost will be split by those flying. each flight has 6 seats available to share.

You do not have to be a sailor to book a seat, but do need to be flexible in your departure times as we do not know when the boats are arriving.

There may also be opportunities for reduced costs one way flights north from each city as we will have to fly the airplane to the island to pick up the sailors. Call us about special pricing and flight schedule.
