Thomas Rundquist, M.A. LPC in 2003 was 190 lbs ( 50 lbs overweight for his height) and his cholesterol was 450 plus. This was even with Niaspan. In November 2003 (at 58 yrs old) he became vegetarian. His cholesterol dropped to 139. A MD told me that not everyone can reduce their cholesterol by being vegan, but many can.
Later in 2006 he had heart problems. A doctor ran many tests on his heart and tried different prescriptions to try without success to treat his irregular heartbeat, bad value and low blood pressure. In three short months using Phyllis A. Balch's Prescription for Nutritional Healing A to Z (10 million copies in print) he found a combination of items that made his heart work normal. Tom was tested with an EKG, and his MD listened to his heart. It was normal and today is still good today.
In 2004 in 6 months time he was able to rid his body of excess fat and his weight was down to 140 lbs. He also has exercised at the fitness center to today ( 2012). Note that in 2003 he was lucky enough to be put on chelation therapy by an Naturalpathic Doctor for several years during his high cholesterol times and for a few years after. A scanscan of his truck and an untrasound of his neck arteries showed no plaque buildup in 2005. This impressed his doctor who thought he would have blockage in his heart or arteries, but he did not.
2011 he rode a bike 7 or more miles and could walk the same without heart problems. He still exercises at the fitness center 2 times a week at 144 lbs in weight. Recent Chem blood workups show he is in excellent physical shape at 67 yrs old.
What motivated Tom to change his health so dramatically? In 2003 at age 58 he was in love with a younger woman and wanted to be healthy enough to win her love. So he felt he had to be healthy and have enough income to offer her a better life than a younger man. Tom did this by improving his corporation's cash flow including writing a couple good books.

Did he get the girl? No, she found a younger man, but does he regret all he did to improve his health and wealth? No he is happy to be alive and have so much better health than he had in 2003. He feels she did motivate him so much and this saved his life. Love can conquer alot of problems.
