• Canned Food Drive – donated one can of food to a local food bank for every person who followed our @Ampegy Twitter account.

“The spirit of Ampegy Community™ is to assist smaller community-based organizations and projects with cash, in-kind or volunteer support,” Thoman says. “While we’re interested in all requests, there are three main causes we support.”


These causes are:

• Education – programs that support the quality of public education, from kindergarten through higher education and beyond.
• Environment – actions that promote initiatives like tree plantings, recycling programs, cleaner air and water or that protect and preserve our eco-system.
• Events – activities that strengthen the community and closely align with Ampegy’s core values.
