FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Detroit, Michigan, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) December 22, 2011 -- Orion, Michigan — December 22, 2011 – Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT), a leading supplier of factory automation design, engineering and process consulting services today announced its employee donation drive for Toys for Tots this year will ensure that local children will have a brighter holiday season. Each year the company’s employees choose a local charity to support the holidays. This is the second year that the company has chosen Toys for Tots as its charity.

“We are delighted to be able to give back to our community and we believe donating to Toys for Tots will truly give less fortunate children in our area a holiday to cherish,” said Mike Jacobs, president of Applied Manufacturing Technologies. “This year we made money by our implementing a “last Tuesday lunches” program where we used company funds to buy supplies for lunch and employees made a donation to the chosen charity. Our managers typically take charge of cooking for these events.”

In addition to the “last Tuesday Lunches” program employees and customers brought in toys and some employees also contributed via payroll deductions.
