AMU black buck needs attention
A black buck was captured by the officials of the Aligarh Muslim University with out any intimation to the UP Chief Wild Life Warden, same animal was rescued and released with out any legal action

Black buck is an scheduled one wild animal protected under the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972. This animal was captured illegally by the officials of the Aligarh Muslim University and kept in a cage for a long time. The Chief Wild Life Warden of UP and field functionaries failed to perform their official duty, when it appears in media then black buck was rescued and released by the local officials of the UP Wildlife Department ignoring protocol.
The Master Trainer of the Animal Welfare Board of India Naresh Kadyan, representative of the International Organisation for Animal Protection - OIPA in India moved complaint for strict legal actions against all offenders,which was converted to FIR No. 491 dated 9th July, 2011 by the Civil Lines Police. A notice under section 55 of the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972 also served to the Chief Wild Life Warden of UP for legal actions against offenders and tainted officials of the Department.
The Investigating officer of this case collected all relevant evidences and now legal proceedings are expected from the Administration.
