Los Angeles, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 26, 2011 -- Alokparna is an accepted young performer in the region of Kathak Dance. She started her training at the tender age of five. After her initial training from Sri Pradipta Neogi, she has gone through the long rigorous ‘riyaz’ under the tutelage of the Kathak exponent Dr. Malabika Mitra. She has imbibed within herself gthe essence of two prominent gharanas of Kathak-‘Jaipur’ and ‘Lucknow’. The vigour of Jaipur and the soft delicacy of Lucknow are immaculately blended in her performance.

International performing artist Paul Livingstone is one of the leading sitarists in America today. He has been rigorously trained for the past 25 years in India and the US under the late Amiya Dasgupta, Rajeev Taranath and the living legend Pandit Ravi Shankar. Paul has performed and taught Indian classical and ragajazz music around the US, Mexico, Europe & South Asia and has just returned from a major concert tour in Nepal, India, Czech & Germany.

Sarangi artist Pankaj Mishra was born into a lineage of exceptional musicians, being the son of Sri Satyanarayan Mishra, grandson of Pt. Mahadeo Prasad Mishra, and great-grandson of sarangi virtuoso Pt. Saraju Prasad Mishra. He was trained from an early age by the renowned sarangi player Pt. Mahesh Prasad Mishra of the Benaras Gharana. He is a highly regarded accompanist, performing with such renowned artists as Pt. Shymal Bose, Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri, Pt. Anindo Chatterjee, Pt. Sankha Chatterjee, Pt. Kumar Bose, Ustad Sabir Khan, Subhankar Banerjee, and Bikram Ghosh. His dance recital performances with kathak exponent Pt. Birju Maharaj, Pt. Rammohon Maharaj, Pt. Krishna Mohan Maharaj, and Pt. Vijay Shankar have been widely acclaimed. Pankaj performs music for Film and Television Serials (Hindi-Bengali) and has recorded several CDs with vocalist Smt. Purnima Chowdhury, Pakhawaj artist Biplab Mondol and Tabla players Pt. Anindo Chatterjee, Pt. Sankha Chatterjee, Ustad Sabir Khan and many others.

Sri Subhajyoti Guha, a highly talented, young tabla player from Kolkata, India, is one of the NEW GENRE of tabla exponents who are taking this world pleasing North Indian percussion instrument to greater heights in the 21st century.Subhajyoti's intense dedication and love for his art has won him quite a few laurels. Namely, THE PRESIDENT'S AWARD from ALL INDIA RADIO in 1989, THE DOVER LANE TALENT SEARCH AWARD in 1990-91, THE HIRENDRA KUMAR GANGULY AWARD , from WEST BENGAL STATE ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS, in 1993, TAAL MANI AWARD from SUR SRINGAR SAMSAD of mumbai in 1996 and the degree of SANGEET VISHARAD from PRACHEEN KALA KENDRA of CHANDIGARH in 1997. At present he is a grade 'A' tabla player of All India Radio & T.V.
