An unrepresented Lewisham Council employee fights a 20 day 'bullying' case at the Tribunal

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 15, 2012 -- The second week of a 20 day hearing involving an alleged sustained campaign of bullying and victimisation against a Black disabled employee by Babcock management, over a two year period continues on 16 January 2012 at Croydon Employment Tribunal. The Tribunal panel spent the first week reading the extensive 8 bundles of evidence and witness statements. The Respondents will begin their three day cross-examination of the unrepresented Claimant on 16 January 2012. Lewisham Council is also a co-Respondent in the case.

Between 23 January & 1 February 2012, the Claimant intends to cross-examine the Respondents 10 witnesses- which include HR staff and senior managers from the FTSE 100 company Babcock Group PLC’s subsidiary company, Babcock Education and Skills Ltd.
An appeal hearing relating to this case was held on 5 January 2012, at the Employment Appeal Tribunal in London. The Claimant alleged that Lewisham Council and Babcock Education and Skills Ltd removed her supporting evidence from the trial bundle in a bid to obstruct the just disposal of proceedings. The Employment Appeal Tribunal subsequently ordered that the evidence be put back into the trial bundle.
