Boonville, CA (January 11, 2012) — Zina Hyde Cunningham Winery (www.zinawinery.com) is off to a strong start in the New Year with medals earned at the 2012 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. The 2010 Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc and the 2008 Redwood Valley Carignane took home gold medals. “We are proud of the fact that this prestigious wine competition has singled out two gold awards for Zina Hyde Cunningham,” said winemaker and proprietor Steve Ledson. “This is another reason why Anderson Valley in Mendocino County is a good place to visit and taste these great wines.”
The long rich Cunningham Family history started in Mendocino County in 1865 where Zina Hyde Cunningham’s heirs brought his vision of producing the very best wines from his winery and vineyards.
