Andrew Cuomo's Corruption Allowed $400 Million To Be Added to $1.2 Billion In NY Medicaid Fraud Which Must Be Refunded By NY State To Federal Government

Plattsburgh -- Free-Press-Release.com-- Oct 21, 2010 -- The blog CuomoTARP.blogspot.com latest posts concern Andrew Cuomo's corruption which allowed $400 Million to be added to $1.2 Billion In NY Medicaid Fraud previously reported to be refunded By NY State To Federal Government. The two part post includes a October 21, 2010 letter to Moody's Investors Service, Standard & Poors, and Fitch's, in regard their potential liabilities.
The letter awakens the Rating Agencies to the moral, financial and corruption hazard that was and is Andrew Cuomo and the disasterous effects on NY Bond values and the Medicaid returns liability facing NY State and the costs of these Medicaid frauds to NY Counties. The blog CuomoTARP.blogspot.com describes liabilities to NY State for the return of Medicaid funding of $1.6 Billion dollars. The rating agencies are advised: you do not want any liability imposed on you for ignoring these reported Medicaid liabilities that can be considered a small sample of a much larger problem when other NY Medicaid transactions will certainly be examined.

The post goes on say to Andrew Cuomo: "no one, nor NY State can afford your profligate indifference to your costs generated by your toleration of corruption. The latest 10/8/2010 Federal Inspector General report for 2004 to 2006 shows over $115 million is needed to be refunded by NY State to the Federal Government and if we conservatively multiply this for 2007 to 2010 by three, we have about $350 million to be refunded for this one item alone in this Inspector General Report. And this isn't all, an earlier post showed $1.2 billion in Medicaid fraud reimbursement owed to Federal Government. And, worse, NY State and its counties have paid and lost a matching sum."

The post goes on to say, "we know you, Andrew Cuomo, are a control freak." And follows with a condensed copy of Federal Inspector General letter to NY containing, "[Problems] include, but are not limited to, physical abuse or threats of physical abuse, theft, and beneficiary abandonment. We recommend that the State: • refund $100,335,472 to the Federal Government; [and] refund the estimated $15,325,689 in unallowable payments;"

The blog concludes: "Andrew Cuomo has caused a lost minimum $1.3 Trillion federal dollars and a lost minimum $5 Billion NY State and NY County dollars. First step: Lock him away from any control over NY Finances or any oversight function.":
