This show is part of Andy O'Brien's 2012 performance series entitled the "Red Hot Blues tour", supporting his upcoming CD release, "Red Hot Blues".

Andy O'Brien, based out of Lowell, Massachusetts, has been a staple of the New England music scene in various bands and musical stylings for over 25 years. Inspired by blues legends the likes of Howlin' Wolf, Willie Dixon, Bo Diddley, and Jimmy Reed, Andy O'Brien invites you along on a tour of the blues during his unforgettable performance. The one-man-band the blues has been eagerly awaiting for has arrived in Andy O'Brien.

Raised on the rock music of the 1960's Andy O'Brien searched out the inspiration of those musical influences, to be schooled with a full syllabus of the delta, chicago, and texas blues pioneers. Always expanding his repertoire and living life with a "there is something new to learn everyday" attitude, Andy O'Brien is as entertaining to see live as he is hear through your speakers. Andy O'Brien brings the blues into the new century, with the strength to captivate his audience and keep them dancing long into the night.

Grumpy Doyle's is a neighborhood restaurant & pub focusing on great food & beverages, all sports and Irish Music(Wed/Sun) & Acoustic music(Thurs/Fri) in a great atmosphere. They opened in September, 2010 and are located at 530 Main St., Reading, Mass. They serve a full lunch and dinner 7 days a week and a late night appetizer menu Friday-Saturday until 10.30PM.
