FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 12, 2012 --
Authors who reach best seller status don't just turn around and offer their books for free, but Angil Tarach-Ritchey isn't your typical author. As an eldercare expert with over 30 years in senior care and advocacy, Angil's focus and passion is to improve the treatment, living and care of aging adults. She states "writing is the avenue to education, which empowers seniors and family caregivers to recieve better treatment and care. Becoming an author was a natural progression as my articles gained popularity, but being an author was never my focus."
Angil Tarach-Ritchey hits #1 with her Kindle EBook "Understanding Medicare, Medicaid and other payer sources" and offers the book for free in response
Welcome visit Our WebSite:
http://www.elderboom.org Angil has literally helped thousands of seniors and families navigate through the system by educating them in many areas including senior insurance and benefits so they could obtain services, and understand how to save on healthcare costs. "I meet many family caregivers who don't have the slightest idea of who pays for what when they face a health crisis with a spouse or parent. They often need to make quick decisions and don't have the time to do their research, leaving them anxious and confused. Offering the "Quick Guide to Medicare, Medicaid and other payer sources" enables seniors and families to quickly understand what is covered and what isn't, as well as providing information on other resources and prescription drug savings, eliminates a lot of stress", Ritchey said. This isn't a popular topic, but it is a necessary topic.
There are so many changes going on in healthcare that it's next to impossible for seniors and families to decipher the payer system or keep up with the changes from year to year. Ritchey's book provides an easily understood summary of the qualifications, cost, benefits, and criteria that can end up costing seniors thousands in healthcare bills if they are not familiar with the rules of Medicare.
Ritchey didn't expect such popularity of her book as a first time Kindle author. The Quick Guide to Medicare, Medicaid and other payer sources has remained in the top 5 in it's category for several weeks and surpassed Ritchey's expectations. Her response to the book's popularity is what is most unusual. Rather than promote the sale of the book, Ritchey is offering the book free of charge on January 13, 2012, and is allowing the book to be borrowed through early March for Kindle Prime members. When asked why she decided to give the book away she responded "of course I want to sell books so I can cover the costs of future books and projects, but my motivation is more about education than sales. I've seen the stress families experience when they enter the eldercare world without prior education and experience, and if I can help alleviate that stress by providing a few free or loaned books than I am happy to help."
This isn't Ritchey's first book and definitely not her last. This past September Angil released a free M2E Book titled "The Aging Question: A Vision for the Coming Elder Boom", which is a cutting edge mini media ebook. The M2E Book is a different experience for the reader because it includes text, photos and video clips. This book can be found for free at http://www.dreamsculpt.com/angil/ This book provides a glimpse into Angil's highly anticipated print book which is expected to be out in the next few months titled "Behind the Old Face; The Current Climate and Future of Aging", in which Angil offers a different perspective and vision for senior living and care that will solve many of the current issues while reducing healthcare costs. She interviewed several aging adults who will be featured in the book, and you can catch a glimpse of in couple video clips in her M2E Book.
The intense passion and experience Ritchey has is rare and we are sure we'll be hearing a lot more from this rising author and expert on eldercare.
