SANTA CLARA, Calif., January 27, 2010 – Ankeena Networks, a leading provider of new media infrastructure, will lead two sessions focused on the importance of video transport optimization at the upcoming VidTrans10 and OTTcon Conferences. Ankeena executives will provide insight to help service providers continually adapt their infrastructure to ensure networks do not break under the continual increase in online video traffic.
Representatives from Ankeena Networks, will address the problems associated with current media delivery systems. Topics of discussion will include; optimizing video caching for delivery performance, delivering the best quality of experience available through underlying network connections, and linkage issues between content delivery behavior and network behavior that pose significant challenges. Attendees will learn how to optimize the end-to-end network for high quality online video, examine opportunities for caching and media intelligence from origin site to viewer, and every step in between.
Ankeena Networks will be speaking at both the Over-The-Top Video Conference (OTTcon) and VidTrans10 (the Annual Technical Conference and Exposition). At OTTcon, Anshu Agarwal, the vice president of product marketing, will be speaking along with other industry leaders. Having worked in technology and led successful marketing teams for over 10 years, Agarwal brings a vast depth of knowledge for developing profitable, world-class technologies. The session is entitled “Optimizing End-to-End Network Transport for Over-The-Top Video Delivery,” and will take place at 2:00 p.m., February 2, 2010, in the Castilian Ballroom at the Holiday Inn Hotel San Jose, Calif.
This year’s VidTrans10 theme is “Reaching the goal of Seamless Video Transport” and will focus on innovative types of networking and video technologies and their application to video transport. Speaking at VidTrans10 will be Suresh Bazaj, senior director of product management. Bazaj has more than 15 years experience in product management and creating multimedia solutions. He will be speaking about “Optimizing End-to-End Network Transport for Internet Video Delivery,” at 8:30 a.m., February 4, 2010 in the Ballroom Foyer at The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead, in Atlanta, Ga.
