Annette Starbuck essentially won the “cupcake” lottery when she won “Cupcake Wars” on Food Network this past season. Last week she had the honor of providing cupcakes for Daniel Radcliffe’s new film premiere “The Woman in Black”. Since winning she has been invited as the celebrity chef on shows like The Talk (with co-host Debi Mazar), FOX-TV 11 ‘Wednesday’s Child’, attending Success LA, she will be a celebrity judge at the Cupcake Camp in Santa Barbara, attending and serving at the Chocolate Fashion Show, and the Indulge LA at the Olympic Collection. That is just a few of the recent and upcoming events Annette has been blessed with since winning “Cupcake Wars”. Annette is also preparing to sponsor “A Flavor for Charity” a monthly event hosted by a different celebrity each month at her popular bakery “Goodie Girls”.

Annette Starbuck won Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars” and the money she won definitely helped make her sweet dreams come true. After winning “Cupcake Wars” she was inspired to open her dream store appropriately titled: “Goodie Girls” at 415 E. Broadway in Glendale. Annette was lucky winner of the premiere episode of the series’ third season, filmed this past spring. She said she was surprised to win because she had been operating an online cupcake business for only eight months when she was picked for the show.

Annette's display was taken directly over to the Derby’s red-carpet event, where celebrities such as Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minnillo, Salt-N-Pepa, as well as Food Network chefs Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri, enjoyed her delectable creations. Now Annette enjoys spending time in her store and is working with several networks providing food for celebrities on shows, visiting talk shows and celebrity events.
