Announcing a Jingle Contest for Children K-12 Starting November 1st!

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 29, 2009 -- 2cre8 LLC (2cre8) is proud to announce the Creople® “Jingle Contest”. As a promotion for the Creople iPhone and iPod Touch drawing game, this Contest will allow children K-12 an opportunity to use their musical creativity to create a 30 second jingle that best represents the Creople iPhone game. Music and lyrics must be an original composition created solely by the Entrant. (Creople will be available for download on the Apple App Store in November 2009 for $1.99.)

No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. Only one entry per child is permitted. All entrants must be a U.S. citizen. Parents/guardians of entrants will need to register on the official Web site at www.creopleworld.com.

The viewing public will vote for the Top 10 jingles, which will then get narrowed down by our judges to the 5 Finalist. We are honored to have a breadth of talented judges all with varying musical backgrounds. We are very pleased to announce Crystal Waters as one of the judges for the contest. She is best known for her string of domestic and international number one dance hits in the 1990's, including her 1991 signature smash, "Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)". We are equally honored to have Violinist, Sheryl Staples, who is currently the Principal Associate Concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic, a position she has held since 1998.

Prizes: The Grand Prize Winner of the Contest will have their jingle recorded and played on the upgraded version of the Creople iPhone game as well as on the Web site www.creopleworld.com. He or she will also receive $1,000.00, a Creople T-shirt and sponsorship prizes. The 2nd prize winner will receive $500.00, a Creople T-shirt and sponsorship prizes. And the 3 Runner-Ups will each receive $100.00, a Creople T-shirt and sponsorship prizes.

The Contest and voting will officially start November 1, 2009 12:00 am EST and end on December 15, 2009 11:59 pm EST.

Creople Background

The Creople iPhone drawing game originated from a paper version being played by Kiernan Meyer and Cameron Meyer (our children). They were having so much fun and laughing like crazy. They explained the game step by step, which then led to the creation of “Creople [creature + people]”. Later, 2cre8 developed the idea to start a promotional event for the game called the Creople “Jingle Contest”.
