The Mountain Brook Lacrosse Combine is open to all Mountain Brook High School athletes looking to measure their potential as they aspire to the next level of their playing careers. Participants will test in multiple Combine drills that will result in receiving scores with feedback designed to help improve field performance and making each athlete STRONGER, FASTER, MORE EXPLOSIVE and MORE INJURY RESISTANT.
ICON Performance has a long, proud history of placing athletes at the top of their game, whether its to make the actual team, moe up to first string or go beyond to collegiate level play.
"Our job is not only make you a better athlete, but to make you a better tester." states Jeff Green, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Exercise Physiologist and Founder of ICON Performance. " How many times has one done all the work to study for a test, yet to make a sub-par grade because the test was different than what he expected. We will make sure you are prepared for all the challenges that the Combine has in store for all our athletes."
Many athletes show up to their combine test—their big audition—unprepared and untrained for the drills. Our Lacrosse Combine Clinic will make you an EXPERT at actual combine tests. Our camp is based off of the exact techniques we utilize to train our elite athletes—those players who have successfully mastered the test and achieved their ultimate goal—either club, high school or collegiate lacrosse. Our Lacrosse Combine Clinic hones your combine skills into a test taking machine. How many steps in the Pro-Agility Drill? What is the proper stride length in the 40 Yard Dash? How does one shift their weight on the Broad Jump? You will be able to practice the answers to these questions plus receive all of our combine tips and tricks before you are tested at an actual combine. You will apply everything you learn and receive a VIDEO of your tests and drills for your own use after camp. So, Are You Ready To Slash .2 - .6 seconds off Your Pro Agility Drill, Shave .2 - .6 Seconds Off Of Your 40 Time, Add 6-8 inches On Your Vertical Jump And Finally Get The Recognition And Respect Of Lacrosse Coaches, Rivals And Your Teammates?
