Another Filing Made in Reference to the Stalled Kenwood Towne Place Project
Recent Filing Cites ‘Fast and Loose Business Practices’
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) October 9, 2009 --
Cincinnati, OH — October 9, 2009 — The filing on October 1, 2009 was submitted on behalf of Henry Schneider, one of the members of the developer of Kenwood Towne Place. Several new allegations have surfaced involving the allocation of funds in the Kenwood Towne Place project.
Schneider’s amended counterclaim states that “The Bank’s relationship with the Bear Creek Group extended beyond ordinary business affairs and involved close personal relationships among Bank representatives and agents of Bear Creek.” Schneider alleges that Jenni Roudebush, a bank employee, “was engaged in a long-standing extra-marital affair with [Timothy] Baird” of the Bear Creek development group which led to the improper handling of funds and assets among other Bear Creek properties.
“We feel hopeful that the most recent filings will help speed a resolution to the stalled Kenwood Towne Place project and bring the necessary parties to the table to foster cooperation,” spokesperson for the CSA John Kraft said. “We hope that these allegations, although negative, will help all parties reach some type of settlement and improve the long term relationship of subcontractors and developers throughout the Cincinnati area.”
The filing further stated that Roudebush’s nondisclosure of the “fast and loose” business practices of Bear Creek led Scheider and other KTP members to believe that “all construction loan disbursements would be properly monitored.”
The next legal proceeding involving the Kenwood Towne Place project will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 in the Hamilton County Courthouse Room 330 at 8 a.m. For a more detailed list and upcoming proceedings visit the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts online at http://www.courtclerk.org.
