Zumbathons are a lot of fun, and if you've never been to one, now is the time! Set to energetic world beat music, Zumba is the weight loss craze that is sweeping the nation. People of all ages are burning up to 1000 calories an hour in a fun, party atmosphere! Zumba isn't a workout, it's a dance party!
A Zumbathon is a three hour dance event that is tons of fun. In three hours, you could burn upwards of 3000 calories, or almost a pound of body fat! And, at the same time, you can meet a lot of great people and dance until you drop! Zumba is like a half marathon for dancers!
This Zumbathon is a benefit for Debbie Nearing, who underwent a very tough surgery to remove a very rare brain tumor that is only found in one in a million people. All of the profits from this benefit will go to her fund, One in a Million.
Tickets are $15 if purchased online in advance or $20 at the door.
