Over the last few days, Muslims and anti-Christian groups stood on the Ground Zero site carrying signs that defend freedom of religion for Islamists. Although there were a small number of people at the site, the media was heavily covering their gathering. Some signs rightfully denounced Pastor Terry Jones’s call to burn the Quran on 9/11.
The issue of freedom of religion in Islam is not profoundly discussed among American people. Islam does not allow freedom of religion for a non Islamic religions in countries where Islam rules. Non Muslims can’t easily worship in peace even inside their homes. They are treated as infidels and second-class citizens. Almost all of their basic rights are denied.
The United States Constitution guarantees freedom of religion for all religious groups. The question is: Should the United States allow freedom of religion for a religion that denies this basic right to other religions?

We challenge Sheikh Raof and Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who supports the Cordoba Mosque on the basis of religious freedom, to write and ask together, for similar treatment, to the Saudi King requesting a Synagogue and Church to be built in Mecca and Medina. This will be a test for the so called “freedom of religion” in Islam, or lack thereof. He must prove Islam’s “religious tolerance” by allowing Jews to pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque that once stood as part of Jerusalem Temple, and Christians to worship freely and practice their religion without harassment.
The City Council and Mayor Bloomberg of New York City have committed a strategic mistake in allowing the a political fanatic Muslim faction, Muslim Brotherhood, which is not considered a main stream Muslim in the Islamic World, to build a Mosque as a base for extremism and hatred on the site of 9/11 attacks, or any other places. Sheikh Abdul Raof is an active member of the Muslim Brotherhood, in addition to being a cousin of Hasan Al Banaa,, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Muslim World in 1928.

During the last nine years of Mr. Bloomberg’s mayorship, many Churches and Christian schools closed and declared bankruptcy because of pressure from anti-Christian groups in New York City under his watch. Freedom of religion should be respected. Thus we call upon the Mayor, to help rebuild, and reopen these Christian institutions for the common good of their communities.
Freedom of religion is a two way street. During the Cold War, America and the West allowed citizens of communist countries to come and live freely. Communism, however, was not allowed because it does not acknowledge freedom. Islam does not allow freedom of religion , and other freedoms in Islamic countries too.

Seizing 9/11 Memorial Day, the anti-Christian media, and News portrayed Pastor Terry Jones as a villain while Sheikh Raof was portrayed as the angel of compassion. The media conveniently ignored the fact that Raof is the cousin of Hassan El-Banaa, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. This Mosque, if built, will be the foundation of the Muslim Brotherhood and their fanatic teachings in America. More mosques will follow as chapters for the Muslim Brotherhood. They will be acting as a bridge with the Wahabii in Saudia Arabia. Our experiences in Egypt and the Middle East tell us that these mosques will be used as launching pads against Churches, properties, women, and children. The Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamists as well as, the Mubarak regime, embrace a policy of genocide against the Egyptian Coptic Christians and other Christians in the Middle East, that also ignored by the US main stream Media.
Anti-Christians and Islamists in America are paving the way for future confrontations, dividing Christian denominations, and planning social unrest in the future. Their weapons will be abusing the freedoms provided in the US Constitution. As a consequence, new legislations will be passed, including amedments to the Constitution, to fit the need of this new situation. Religious riots, martial law, and dictatorship will follow with the help and support of anti-Christians.

The media was very biased with Imam Abdul Raof, who was portrayed as an angle of compassion, while crucifying Pastor Jones for honoring the victims of 9/11. Pastor Jones acted as a “snake” as Jesus told us when we face anti-Christians. Thus, he used “a ruse to trick Satan.” While he practices his freedom of expression, as guaranteed by the First Amendment to the US Constitution, to honor 9/11 victims, Sheikh Raof insists on using his rights to dishonor the American blood of the victims and indignifying their lives. Unlike anti-Christians and Islamists, Pastor Jones did not conspire with Osama bin Laden against Americans. Although Pastor Jones’s plan to burn the Quran was not the best way in handling the situation, it opened up negotiations with anti-Christians to honor the victims of 9/11. However, we were surprised when many media analysts denied his rights as a pastor for defending the rights of 9/11 victims, while praising Sheikh Raof indignifying the victims. Secretary Gates and General Petraeus talked to Pastor Jones. They voiced their concern regarding the Quran burning, saying it would put the lives of US troops in Afghanistan and Iraq at risk. He responded positively as a Christian and American patriot.
The media acted like the Islamic media of the Middle East by attacking Christianity and the Pastor. And even worse than Hama’s, Al Aqsaa Channel, and ,Al Manar, Hezbullah Channel. They used personal and character assassination to distort what he represents and to distract the American people from the main issue: the anti-Christian movement in the United States and the upcoming danger to Christians.

Despite cancelling the Quran burning event to open negotiations with Sheik Raof, Pastor Jones was still bombarded with vicious attacks by the media. It was a shame and a disappointment for the mainstream media depicting the Pastor as a terrorist.

Another shameful tactic by the media was broadcasting American Christian clergy of different denominations who defend anti-Christians and Islamists. Our experiences in the Middle East show that such clergies never show love for their own people or congregations: they always took the side of the Islamists in Egypt. Christ’s teachings were abused by such priests when it was against the interests of Christians. For instance, the clergy never teaches its people to be as “wise as snakes” and not as “doves” all the time.

We would like to alert our American brothers and sisters to be cautious and weary of those who use the word of our Lord Jesus Christ to promote the word of his enemies.
Islamic history books will depict the first Muslim Brotherhood mosque as a monument to Osama bin Laden’s victory in New York invasion, as he described in one of his tapes.

Despite the dark picture drawn by the anti-Christian media, there are some good touches. First, President Barack Obama called to cancel the Quran burning event. Second, the former Speaker of the House called took a fair position with Pastor Jones, and support him for the relocation of the mosque as well as cancelling the burning. Moving the mosque does not diminish the Muslims’ right to build a house of worship even though it is a Muslim Brotherhood mosque.
