Are you or someone you care about suffering with anxiety panic attacks? There is information available for help and support. Most people would conclude that anxiety is merely a feeling and nothing more. It is true that it is a feeling, but there is quite a bit more to it than that.

The term panic attack, is a term that is used for when we feel an attack of anxiety.
The concern of the patient is valid, because the symptoms can mimic those of a heart attack. The feeling of chest pain can be accompanied by sweating and a fast, pounding heartbeat and a shortness of breath.
Information on how to deal with panic attacks can be beneficial for your physical and mental health. At the first sign of the dreaded knot in your stomach, take a moment to try and understand why you have this feeling. In other words try to pinpoint the reason or cause.
If there does not seem to be a reason or cause, you may be having a panic attack. This does not mean you are losing your mind or going crazy. There are millions of people all over the world who have problems with anxiety. The struggle isn’t limited by race, religion or economic status either. People from all walks of life experience these kinds of problems with anxiety and that even includes doctors!
If you choose to tough it out and not seek help, that is a mistake. Left untreated anxiety can lead to deeper struggles mentally, emotionally and even physically. Know this, anxiety is a condition, it is not a way of life and you do not have to live in it. There is treatment and healing available that can help. You can learn how to handle these episodes in your daily life. You don't want them escalate into something bigger than you can not handle. The good news it they don't have too.
